About one in every 20 times the engine wont start and it takes like 10 tries, it doesnt rollover nor does it make any sound, it just acts like the battery is dead. Do i need a new battery or whats the problem here?

Have you tried a new battery?

Could be a spark plug problem too

Here are some possibilities:
- The battery may be old and not holding it's charge.
- Check the battery cables and battery posts for corrosion.
- The alternator may not be charging the battery properly. Check the belt for tightness.

First and foremost, make sure the plug on the back of your Ign sw has a good connection , then start looking at all the other things listed above.
