A Coolant Leak issue
Well, it seems the car has found anotuerh issue to hit me with! As far as I can tell, a hose developed a leak and I need to change it. I say this because it seems to be coming from a particular hose, and I can see coolant dripping from it. I first noticed a small pool of coolant on the ground after turning the car off, a few drops, and noticed a slow drip. After turning on the AC full blast for the first time this year, the temp gauge shot up and I had to park the car... Steam coming from passenger side area by the hoses, and when I opened the radiator cap the steam came from there. I added water (no coolant or 50/50 mix) as much i could, and adding water displaced the steam. This morning, I filled it back up as told by looking at the radiator level under acceleration and put the cap back on, but it is still leaking from the hose.
So, I hope to get the hoses replaced soon. Does it sometimes happen that hoses spring a leak, and this occurs?? Thanks.
