o plus check the fuel filter sometime if you have an older car and if you are running on E your fuel pump could suck up some crap from your tank and get clogged so that would also be another thing to check so you have to check
1) fuel filter for crap clogging it
2) Pump clogged with shit
3) Get your injectors cleaned or just try some other ones if you have them laying around
4) Also could be the ecu diodes but check 1 though 3 first then get back to me if that dont work or ya and number 5
5) good luck

ive recently changed the injectors and ecu. also i recently replaced the gas tank so the fuel filter shouldnt be clogged.

im thinking it might be the MAFS... i want to make sure before i buy and replace it.. but i dont know how to check..

opinions please?

my MAF wiring was bad. You can pull the codes from your ECU, if you get a MAf code then its either the MAF OR the harness.

To check the harness you need a multimeter (ohmmeter) and a wiring diagram, disconnect the ECU then check for continuity between each pin on the MAF connector (just ease back the rubber boot on it so you can see the color code of the wiring) and its corresponding pinout at the ECU harness.

Even the Haynes manual probably has a procedure to check MAF function, you use a voltmeter and check the voltage variation,

course I dont have a 240 so what do I know, burt Im sure its similar.
