Stupid but curious question??

Little info first.. i have a 92 with the ka24de. i have no a/c i took out the lines and the a/c radiator. now i wish to get rid of the compressor. question is do i need a belt made to fit the idler pulley or can i just remove the belt with no worries and take off the compressor....thanx for the help...

you're going to need to get another belt for the idler pulley.

Just remove the A/C belt; the A/C belt only drives the compressor.
