fly wheel problems???

do i need to torque my flywheel and pressure plate back on or do i just tighten them...if i do what is it???thanks

you know what the answers gonna be...
break out that torque wrench bud. you cant exactly get into that area to work on those things when its all back together. once you shear a loose flywheel bolt, its over anyways. do it right the first time and dont worry about it.

download the fsm and look it up. as a matter of fact, you should use this for EVERYTHING you do.

DAMN RIGHT YOU NEED TO TORQUE THEM!!

If you just tighten them a bit, then there's a good chance of bolts breaking and worst, a clutch/flywheel disintegration at high RPM. A good way to lose a leg.

Please, by all means torque them ASAP. Here's the torque spec:

Flywheel bolts: 142-152 Nm (105-112 ft-lbs)
Clutch pressure plate bolts: 22-29 Nm (16-22 ft-lbs)
