i have a question about guage clusters

i have a 90 240 sx with the 93 twin cam engine in it, it currently has the 90 analog instument panel in it, if i switch it out with the 93 digital instrument panel will it work

Yes. The only thing that wouldn't work from the two different engine models is the tachometer. Tachometers from SOHC cars don't work with DOHC ECU's. The reason is because the voltage sent from the DOHC ECU is considerably lower and a SOHC tachometer won't recognize it.

Ah, I always wondered where the signal was lowered...I think I"ll put an amplifier on the signal.

maybe that'll help it out.
