Does it overheat when you push it hard? If it does, there may be some air pockets in the system.

There's also a possibility of a head gasket leak.

When you run it hard....Shut it down and check to see if the radiator hoses collapse on them selves May take an hour or so...this is a sign you have an air pocket....when the car cools that air pocket shrinks causing the hose to collapse. Have you done a pressure check on your coolant system? Are you loosing fluid?

I had a small pin hole leak in a secondary cooling line once that was hard to see. I found it using the old method of pressurizing the system. Some shops have the device that mounts to where your radiator cap is and pumps air into your system where ever there is a leak you will see the coolant flow from it. If you dont see it sand you cooling system doesnt retain the pressure most likely a leak in your head between the coolant line and a piston. Take your plugs out and see which one looks different....There is a color to look for on the plug if coolant is being burned but for the life of me I cant remember what it is.
