Induction: Leaking coolant!! Help

i just replaced the cracked radiator on my 1990 240sx and instead of it leaking all the time it now only leaks when its running now it could just be somethin need tighting but wonder if anyone else has had this problem....?

yea wheres it leaking? i went through 2. check the lower radiator hose or if the crack is on the plastic near the top use a + b weld putty it works awsome.

its not a hose i checks those and came to the conclusion that it may be a waterpump....sigh***....not sure yet but its centered and dripping from behind the timing chain

crap that sux its an easy procedure if its just the water pump tho took me about an hour it was the first thing i had ever done to a car

question then....do you have to remove the engine or what? ....im just a beginning tuner whats the best way ? thanks for any advice/help

remove the shroud for the fan, losen all the belts and pull them off, remove the fan, and the underdrive pulley, and its rite underneath that dont forget to drain ur coolant lol. get a new nice waterpump it is worth it in the end also if you are doing that u should do ur thermostat also thats pretty easy also just un bolt the power steering pump and have a friend hold it while un bolt the housing. hope this helps
