Headlights problem :(

Ok here is the problem im tired of being pulled over so i need to fix my head lights first off. Only the left side headlight turns on unless i turn my brights on that headlight turns off and the other headlight turns on as the bright. kinda weird dont know where to look for that. The second problem is that my head lights stopped moving. this happend after i was wireing up my oil pressure guauge. Fuse is good so i dont know what went wrong there. So any advice would help.

I just had this problem today. It happened after I took my car through a wash. I found that my plug on my for the right light into the harness (about 1 foot behind the light) was just soaked in water IE still had water in it) A. Follow the wire back disconnect it and see if you have any water in it. Check to see if the light plug has a ground on both outter pins. With the lights on Disconnect the plug from the back of the light there will be 3 contacts two even with each other and the middle one lower. Take a Multimeter on Ohms and put one lead on one of the outside pins. and touch the other lead to ground. Only one should have 0 ohms on it the other outside pin should have a open. Then put high beams on and the 0 Ohms should be on the other pin. This is a quick way to tell if you have a gounded condition in your lights. This was my issue today and it took me and 2 neghibors 3 kids and 2 Mountain Dews one busted knuckle to fix it. Good luck

the same thing happened with my headlights. i did the H4 conversion and put in some hyper white bulbs. i just changed out the bulb and now its been fine. i dont know if this is any help but i think it would be worth a try. my first bulb only lasted about 2 1/2 weeks, but the new one i put in has lasted about 2 months now.
