Project Car: S13 240sx w/ Silvia

I have a friend that is offering to sell me a s13 1994 240sx shell, for about $500-$600, and he knows I'm wanting to but a Skyline or Silvia motor in it and he knows a place in Dallas that I could get a Silvia engine, tranny, turbo, and ecu for about $1500 or so. Now thats outrageously cheap or what? But I can't wait to start if I get the shell. I'm going to start with the engine and then out. What do you all think?

And what are some web sites for parts, lights, seats, etc for me to start looking for seats and stuff like that.

thats a good price. just make sure nothing is missing off of it like important sensors. I know there is a kid out there in tulsa tha has a skyline motor in his s13 hatch. Look him up:

there is one place I've found out of Texas... it's Nissan Factory stuff from Japan... the link is http://www.courtesyparts.com/secondtier_s13.html
I think the prices aren't bad since it's all new stuff... but I know we can't all afford what we want at times, but that should help a bit. If not that.. then password JDM is always good, but very expensive.
you'll always have places like here in NC I know Import Auto Salvage, or in Georgia the place I got my 180sx clip from Jarco Inc. (www.jarcoinc.com), there are tons of places, my best tip would be find a place the can work with you and get you what you need at a reasonable price... then over time as you continue to do biz with them they will probbly give you better deals, and help you track down stuff that you'd never be able to find otherwise.
hope that helps.

Dragdriftautox.com, has some decent prices if you live in the Northwest. for Central part of NA you may want to check with j-spec.com, they're located in IL i believe. and for us east coast people, I would go with Heavythrottle, jgy, or 240sxmotoring.
