auto manual swap
i found a 92 with 159k in cherry condition for 1500 but its auto. i'm trying to talk a guy into selling a beat up s13 5speed but i had to go through his dad and he hasn't got back to me. since i want to do a sr swap anyway in the future when i get a better job (its just going to be a daily driver while i let my 7th gen celica hibernate for now) if i'm correct all i would need would be differerent tranny or maybe engine mounts mount a clutch pedal and a linkage' the clutchmaster cylinder and the associtated parts or whatever. i mentioned the 5 speed because if he does want to sell it would probally be only a couple of hundred so i could use it as the donor car since it need paint and 2 rear quarters. i remember seeing them do a auto to manual swap along with a ka to sr swap in some mag so i think its a worthwhile upgrade if its a cherry condition auto you are working with and i can always do a level 10 racing auto or similar if its not worth the money. and these 2 are the only 240's i've seen recentely that MIGHT be for sale so i don't think "keep looking for 5 speed" will help
