anybody know why my 240 died??

Ok so i finally get my car back from the bodyshop after 2 months,i get about 5 miles down the road and the car stars to stutter when i press the accelerator it cuts off i coast into a parking lot.I pushed it and popped the clutch it starts but the dash lights dont come on and as soon as i try to take off it stutters and dies.Long story short i had to have my mom tow me home with her jeep cherokee .Anybody have any ideas??alternator,maybe a fuel pump??

Could be some short in the electrical system or a blown fuse?

Apart from that, the alternator might have problems, if it's not working the car can't run that long on the battery alone, but I don't see how it was able to crank and start after dying like that.

I'm new arround 240s myself....

maybe it could be your maf. or maybe its just time for it to die. that happened to me, and i said screw it and i put an sr in. problem solved. I would check the ECU and see what it has to say. you can do a self diagonosis on it. just find the fault codes for you model car.
