Unhappy 240 headlights wont open :(

hey guys

the headlights on my 180/240 will not open when switched fully on the
indicator stalk. they can still be opened using the manual switch located
near the steering wheel column. does anyone know how i ca fix this
problem??

Check the relay box underneath the airbox... also check your fuses.. the most annoying problems are usually easy to fix lol

yeah ive checked everything i dont know whats wrong,fuses
relays the lot. so annoying

well if you checked the fuses correctly, and you're sure that's not the problem then take a oHm tester to the wires in the switch to see if the switch is bad, if not.... the headlight motors are you best bet.

but if the motors are stuffed im thinking they shouldnt pop
up at all right? i have also tried my freinds indicator stalk still
does the same thing.

thanks for the info guys ill check the motors anyway

It is probably some kind of wiring short somewhere between that switch and the motors then. If it's not the fuse and it's not the actual stalk itself then my best guess would be a wiring short. good luck to you bro.

faulty relay

problem was faulty relay behind radio, now its all fixed thanks to all
who replied.
