Anyone tackle this install yet? What is the best way to get the console removed? How does it perform? Thanks

There should be 1 screw on either side of the console in the front, by the foot area. There's another screw by the shifter, you gotta lift up a tab to get to it. Then there are two screws in the rear of the console by the cup holders; you have to remove the piece directly underneath the cupholders to get to them. Pull off the piece covering the lower DIN and then pop off the piece with the cupholders and boot. Yank the e-brake all the way up and then the console should lift up.
