Dual Exhaust?

I was considering putting dual apexi N1 (NA, so the smaller ones) on my 03 spec v. I talked to one person and they said you can't fit dual exhaust because of the placement of the gas tank. Is this true? And if it would fit would it sound like crap and hinder the performance? I know the body kits they make for the spec v allows for duals but I'm not sure about that gas tank.

It's pointless to run duals on a 4 banger. Are you just going for looks?

Zepplin, why don't you look under the car YOURSELF and answer the question yourself?

dual exhaust on the spec v=worthless anyways.

but like I said, take 30 seconds and look under your car.

It would take massive creativity to do this, a good amount of money and you would not gain any more power, not to mention un-needed weight. If you want good sound, get a VRS exhaust w/ 2.5 inch piping. I have that product a 5/5.

Does the Dodge SRT 4 actually benefit from having dual exhaust? I'm not trying to credit neons or anything. I think they're shit. I was just under the impression that duals on 4 cylinders are pointless and do them no justice. From what I understand the srt 4 is harboring a lot of power while running duals. Why is this?

It could be just for show. They run 2.25 or 2.5 inch piping stock. No muffler, no res, just str8 pipe.

I looked at aftermarket exhaust for the srt 4 and it just Y's off of the muffler near the axle.
