Funny Noise from header?

Hey guys,

Just want to clarify something. I installed my stillen headers back a month or so ago. When driving the car from aorund 1500-3500rpm the engine sounds or exhaust from the header to the first where the second USED to be. When accelerating from a low rpm on a higher gear it really sounds raspy. When I drive between 2 fences on the road you can hear a VERY Loud "SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" comming from the front. I am just curious to know if this is how its actually supposed to sound. Don;t get me wrong at 4000RPM up this thing sounds amazing but under that doing normal driving it sorta sounds like u got a giant hole in the exhaust.

Sounds like it could be a leak. What gaskets did you use when installing? Did you remember to re-tighten the bolts after a week of use?

I used the supplied gaskets for the bottom but reused the gasket from the header from the original. Also when Im driving and i set the AC to allow air from outside and im not moving I can smell exhaust smoke. Ideas?
