aftermarket knock sensor

Relocating the knock sensor to the firewall is definitly a fix for its oversensitivity.

But if i want to be relatively sure there is no detonation going on a knock sensor helps. Why are they not available as an aftermarket part?! I wouldnt have thought they would cost much to produce.

If im totally overseeing something here, go easy one me!

Detonation will not be a problem I have had mine done for about 3 months and had no problems. As for a after market knock sensor it would not fix the problem because its in nissan program in the ecu. You could make the sensor less sensitive by using a resistor if you can get a copy of the fsm.
