I have been riding around with the ses light on for about a week now, until I get around to relocating the second O2 sensor. When I hear the click, the ses light goes off for a second and then comes back on. When it comes back on the rpm's return to normal. The click that I hear sounds like it is coming from the ecu. I will go out and check the intake now though.

Did you have the ECU recall done? My ECU went bad about a month ago and had to be replaced. I didnt hear any clicking though. It just cut out and went into limp mode.

All of the hoses to the intake are cool and the connection to the MAF is good. The clicking is coming from a relay on driver's side under the dash. Does this tell anyone anything?

No, I have not had the recall done. What does it do when it goes into limp mode? Would the car start, run, and then cut off with your bad ecu?

In limp mode ir will run but wont rev over 2500 rpm I belive it was. My SES was on the whole time it was in limp mode. The car would start up fine but never totally cut off. You need to get it to the dealer and let them check it out. It could very possibly be the ECU especially sine you havent had the recall done.

I'm kinda scared to take it to the dealership because right now the second O2 sensor is not even installed.

Either take it to an exhaust shop and have them put a bung in the exhaust and relocate the sensor. or put the stock header back on until you get the problem fixed. I would put the stock header back on since they will be able to pull the 02 code as well as whatever is wrong now. With the stock header on you can just play stupid. I had all my mods on when they did my ECU but I didnt have any other codes.

Any possibility that it could be the fuel pump relay? When I turn the key to the "on" position, there is a relay that clicks several times. When I go to start the car it will either fire up or just turn over like it is getting no fuel. When it does start up, it will run a little bit then either choke and keep running for minute or die all together. It is frustrating the hell out of me. I would like to just wait until tomorrow to try something else, but I don't know if I will sleep tonight.

Just go to sleep man. Its probably not a big deal. Just put your stock header back on and take it to the dealer. Thats why you buy a new car. For a warranty. Make them figure it out for you. I doubt its a fuel pum relay and if it was you cant fix it tonight anyway can you? Just get some sleep and worry about it in the morning.

I appreciate the help man. I guess I know what I will be doing tomorrow, putting the stock header back on.

No problem. Good luck. I have a feeling its the ECU. The ECU can do some freaky things. Mine threw a TPS code and it turned out to be the ECU. Remember it controls EVERYTHING. The reason for the recall is that the ECU could fail and cause the car to die. Just like happened to you.

Ok, now it won't start at all. I have been putting it off all day, but I guess I am going outside now to start putting my stock intake and header back on so the car can go to the dealership tomorrow.
