Okay I tried doing a search and I haven't found anything. I just installed my Magnaflow catback exhaust and I noticed that there is a strange smell. I hope that the smell is just from dust inside the exhaust since it set for a few weeks in my room waiting for time to be installed, someone please help me out and let me know if this is normal for a new exhaust. Thanks alot

Perfectly normal. Its not dust. Its just from the exhaust getting hot for the first time and any crap thats on it burning off. It will stop in a day or so.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I just installed a Magnaflow 14833 on my Altima and I am experiencing the same smell... That "new exhaust smell" Kinda the welded muffler guts smell. I love it. It goes away after a while.
