WZUP everyone i have a stupid question,I just installed a nismo header with out the cat in it on a 2003 spec-v,the next day the check engine light came on for two way catalyst,is there a fix for this ???? I cleared the light but it came on again the next day..
that IS a stupid question...lol. havent you heard that you gotta relocate the second 02 sensor to after the cat? what did you do with the other 02 sensor????!!?? search the forums, you'll find everything you'll need to know...search under hotshot headers, they are the same.
The Nismo header has two 02 bungs in it. So I will assume you put both 02 sensors in the header. You cant do this unless you want to get an SES light. You have to plug the second 02 bung on the header and relocate the second 02 sensor to behind the back cat. Then you will never see the SES light again.

uh....no....the caspers is a bypass...meaning it bypasses the 02 sensor alltogether, therefore you wont be having the use of a second 02 sensor anymore. you other option is to relocate it to aftter the primary cat, which you'll need to do if you wanna pass Emissions inspection. you'll need extra sensor wire, a plug and a trusty Muffler shop. they'll need to drill a whole into your pipe right after the primary cat and weld a bung in and put the sensor in, then wire the sucker. see...you should have gotten the hotshot header, it comes with all that.

Actually the second o2 sensor still needs to be connected to the exhaust. It must get heated up in the exhaust flow, even though the reading for the emissions is coming from the casper unit.
