What did you ask for when you went to the dealer? I tried to get it done, and the dealer wouldn't do it for me. I have a 03 as well. They took out the ECM linning, but they didn't do the reprogramming part. We were also told we didn't need the TPS recall either. Maybe we don't but sometimes I have some slow starts.

he said he couldnt find which recall to do (saposedly their were two depending on that part of the year or something) so they did both as a precautionary thing. i started having slow starts too thats why i took it in. but i dont know why i have a higher rev limit now, but im cool with it, and no more slow starts.

Nope.....prolly just noticing the inaccuracy of the stock tach. rev limiter still remains that 6250 give or take 50rpm.

mine only took an hour and a half,no loss in power
I guess it could be the tach but it alwasy cut off at 6250 before, who knows but its still worth doing.

got mine done....took less than an hour, no power loss, but its kinda funny u mentioned the higher rpm thing cuz i ran my car at the rack after the recall and i noticed i could kinda go a little further than i thought i could have b4, but then i could be seeing things.

The redline does not get raised to 6500, our tach is off anyways.
