Nismo Header Vs. Nismo header w/catalytic converter

Hey I wanted to ask everyone whats the difference between a header with a catalytic converter and a header without one performance wise before i make any mods

I would go with the converter only because of emissions reasons, unless you know someone who can pass you. The difference with or without should be minimal.

yo redspec,
the cat robs you of precious HP gains... w/o cat you gain 16whp, w/ cat you gain 12whp, and the cat setup costs like 2 bills more!
theres already another cat within the exhaust, you'll pass emissions, and ridding your ride of the precat/header is the best thing you can do for your spec....

about the CEL, greg at mossy hooked me up w/ a AEBS check engine bypass / simulator so no check engine light; the header w/ sim and shipping was about $580...

SIM was free for me but does cost 40 bucks if you have to pay.
And he's right...Getting rid of the pre-cat is the best thing you can do.
Go with NO cat

i put the no cat on my spec, so personally i would say go with the no cat, the way i see it is why would you pay more money for something thats gunna give you less hp then something same quallity, more hp and 2oo less
