hotshot header bracket

i recently installed a hotshot header and the bottom bracket doesn't line up. i wasn't too worried about it since I read the article in SCC about it taking the whole exhaust hanging from the bottom flange to crack the thing, but the more i think about it, the more i'm concerned.

did i fsck up on the install, or do i just need to bend the bracket on the block to make it line up?

There's no problem with leaving it undone. Some of the other headers on the market don't even have the 3rd mounting hole.

Hi
No, you definitley need the bracket to keep your header from cracking. There are 2 Bolts, one holds the bracket to the header, the other holds the header/bracket to the block. They can be adjusted to fit.

Thanks
