I am trying to install my hotshot CAI but it just doesnt fit. I know I have to cut the hole between the battery and the fender a little more but what suggestions do you have as to how to do it or how much I should do it. At this point, I dont see how its going to help, but I think I will get it in eventually... (No jokes on that one )

I took a pair of tin-snips and cut a slit on each corner on the drivers side. Then I bent the metal tab up, which made plenty of room to fit the pipe into. You could bend the tab down, but you will run the risk of putting a nasty gash in your hand when you go to install the filter.

I ended up using a sawsall... (sp?)

Actually, I had my father in law do it since it was his tool. Intake it great and the father in law learned yet again what safety glasses are for!!
