qr25 lower overhaul

I have been talking to a 240sx mechanic about changing my q25 crank to a 240sx crank and pullys because of the know weakness in the lower engine then i would be able to run alot more than 270 hp to my qr25! How true is this statement?

I have no idea, but I doubt if it would work.

the stock crank is fine is the rods and pistons that need to be changed to get over 270whp and not break the motor. check this out if you are trying to make alot of power. The crank does have some draw backs as do most motors but this thread should help.
