Spec V headers

I am looking at some different headers for the Spec V.

I saw there is someone with a group buy for Nismo headers for $450.00 plus shipping.

And on ebay there is a guy selling some brand KAmikaze for $250.00 plus shipping.

There is also Hotshot which I think is around $300.00 plus shipping somewhere on the net.

What is the best deal? Is Nismo the best? It is a nissan authorized product right?

All things considered what is the best value? I do not mean the cheapest that is obvious.

Any other suggestions would be helpful.

Talking

for the most bang for your buck stick with the hotshot header. The installation is much easier than the aebs. Both the aebs and hotshot headers are nice but the extra money for the aebs is not worth it.

Not yet but with the other mods to come those bigger primaries and down pipe are going to be nice. If your only plans are to do I/H/E then yes HS is the best producted for you. If you plan on making your car a N/A 200whp + monster then AEBS is the best choice

I do not remember where I saw it because I was on a lot of different nissan sites trying to research headers and other mods possible.

Right now I only have an AEM CAI on my car. I would prefer to leave my options open for the header just incase I decide to to do more mods. If the AEBS header is not that much more money I would assume to go with it JUST IN CASE!

Um....IIRC, the NISMO header IS the Hotshot header. Same thing, more $$........NISMO is NOT neccessarily better.

If I can afford it, I will go AEBS, that header has always looked the best to me, but if i decide to go value I will get the Hotshot, everyone has it, we know it works, its cheaper than the AEBS, and i've heard its an easy install. Im really hoping to get the AEBS header though!!

AEBS is nice. Nismo header will not be under warrenty unless a Nissan Tech installs it...

I wonder

If the aebs has a 3 way cat that comes with it , is it gonna pass smog? if it will, and gives that much gain I would buy it.. Shoot no messing around with switching exhuast just buy it and leave it on can't beat that..

Just a thought

It should. I had to do it in Norfolk when I was in the navy. My car at the time had a header
