Custom headwork

I did a before and after dyno comparison. CAI and Catback was 145.8 whp 160 torque. Header, CAI, Catback was 162whp and 171 torque. Yes, he is going to mill the head to beef the compression up to 10:1. How much he is taking off the head is a good question, I will have to ask him that? If I were to use higher compression pistons later, let's say 11:1 then that would give 12:1 with the head milled the way its going to be, so I don't know if that will cause me problems later in deciding to get a higher compression piston. I will let you know how every thing goes and yes I will provide dyno sheets when done with my project. I can't wait to run an awd turbo wrx, with my n/a set up. Thanks for your feedback,

Billy

Talking Sweetness on those numbers

Your compression ratio will vary but I doubt by a full compression point. Then again I could be wrong there are formulas the shop will have to calculate the ratio. One thing to make sure is to get notched pistons for your valves, with the decked head and higher ratio pistons. Again thats only if required. I run .75 of a gap between the top of the piston and my valve on my stang ..Close as you want to get trust me. That Jim Wolf kit looks tight for uppin the ratio. Make sure to get your rotating assembly balanced if you choose to do new pistons and rods.

Race a stick WRX cause my stock spec stuck like glue to an auto WRX . I say beat some WRX punks!!!!!!!!!!!
