Question on EGRC-BPT assembly

I recently purchased a 2006 Sentra SE-R Spec V, and (while I used to do a fair amount of my own repairs) Nissan's engine layout is foreign (in more ways than one) to me...

I cannot seem to locate where this assembly resides, as I am having the tell-tale surges common to a blockage in the tube between the EGR diaphragm and the EGRC-BPT assembly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

AH, Thanks! I guess I must have a vacuum leak somewhere then. All I know is that once the engine warms up, it starts to surge from 1200-2000 RPM if the clutch is disengaged, or the transmission is in neutral.
The consensus answer I found for that behavior was common on the SR20 engine, and I thought it might be the same... however, no EGRC sort of eliminates that possibility.

The QR25DE doesn't have a conventional EGR system. It uses the variable valve timing to crack open the exhaust valve during the intake stroke to suck the exhaust back into the combustion chamber directly from the exhaust system, rather than use an EGR valve to introduce the exhaust gases into the intake manifold. The system is a good idea except when the pre-cats break apart and the debris gets pulled into the cylinder bore and scores the cylinder walls. This is why there were so many problems with oil-burning QR25DE engines.

Now, is that the ignition key sequence (which I also found) or just a battery disconnect (which seems to be the other common cure-all, from what I keep reading).
