there's a fuel sock over the fuel pump. doubt that's the issue on an '06.
There's a TSB (technical service bulletin) on extended crank time.
There's also a recall for the crank position sensor which can also cause extended crank time. IF ever he/she is driving and the tach drops to zero then goes back to normal, then it's the crank position sensor. The sensor is a ~$35 part at autozone (revised has a metal shank, not plastic). You can change it yourself or have the dealer change it under the recall.
