Guys if you could give me some advice here it would be much apreciated I have been having some problems with my car 02 sentra se r auto 2.5l qr25de latly when i come to a stop or leave the car in park once it is running the car just dies no check light comes on it just dies so i took it to a diognostic shop and they said it was my throttle body so i had them replace that.. it still does it not as bad but it does it.
i called them back and they claim they tested everythign thing else and everything seems to be working correctly i would just like to know what you guys think it may be because i dont have the cash to take the car back to them i got to work this out myself recently i took the MAF off and cleaned that just so you know.

i got a few questions, is it doing any thing else? I.E. missing shuddering when driveing. How long has this been going on? what i am trying to get to is look at the basics before you start doing major things. did this happen after you filled up the gas tank? bad gass. or check your spark plugs. i would find out what code the CE light is popping for and start there too. you can also tell alot by how your exgaust smells or if it smokeing. these are just some ideas to help.
Hey, I'm noticing you're have the same problems mine is having.... No check engine light, it drops RPM's when at idle (900/200) then goes back up. Unfortunately, mine just started turning off, but it was when I had the AC on. I've been trying to get info on what could be the problem. If you find anything post it. Same here. It would really save us a lot of money. I had already taken it to a shop but its hard to diagnose if there are no codes. I'll tell you this much. I've changed the coils, spark plugs, alternator, battery, throttle body, and MAF sensor. it's still doing it.
damnit i hope i dont have to replace all that shit before i figure out whats wrong i havent had to worry about it the last couple weeks on account that i freakin t-boned some stupid highschool girls in a intersection with my fucking ride ggrrrrr my car is cursed it sucks

yeah mine was doing that too. same year, spec-v. first, it was revving out at around 2400 RPM's...then it started to stall as i was driving it. i toook it to nissan and they said screws from the "power valve" (i dont know what that is) got sucked into my motor and damaged it. the motor is brand new, and we installed it not 2500 miles ago. but since we installed it, nissan wont honor the warranty. even though it ws an internal problem, andd it has been happening to alot of people im sure... i have to buy another motor now. hopefully this hasnt happened to you.. i also heard of a recall on a sensor or computer chip or something... i would check that out. i hope i helped.
sounds like the car needs to have an Idle Air Volume Learn performed at the dealer...was it a nissan dealer who replaced the TB? Also, has your car been in for the ECM reprogram recall? If it hasn't an IAVL needs to be done as part of the recall so it wont cost you anything. If it has, take it back to the dealer and complain about it, tell them it has been doing it ever since the recall was done, they will likely assume the technician forgot to do the IAVL and do it again for free!

Basically if im parked for an extended peroid when i start the car it will begin to start and then choke/die out unless i hit the gas for a few secs.. then it will continue to idle and perform normally. I havent troubleshooted yet cause ive been busy but Ive been told by many to start with airfilter/intake system, injectors, and fuelfilter(which im saving for last cause its in the tank!!!). Ill also add that i ALWAYS used premium gas. thanks

FYI, it's accessible by removing your rear seat. Fuel pump/filter access is under there. Also IIRC it's a like a sock over your fuel pump vice your run of the mill in-line filter
