I have an 02 spec v.I had problems with my car before it would stall at 2k rpm i checked the mid pipe cat and it was broken inside so it was ristriced after that it ran good but now it stalls at 55k rpm and stalls.I really need some good advice please help.
you probably ate your butterfly screws. You need to remove the top half on the intake manifold and if the plate is not there you have to pull it out of the runner. if it's still there and only one screw fell then get another screw and put loctite on all of them so they don't fall out. Also if your cat is damaged by these screws getting shotgunned into your cat you will hurt your engine.So if your missing a screw you need to get a new cat or get rid of it by getting a header.
definitely check the butterflies... I had similar problems. fixed those and gutted my cat because it was 1/3 missing anyway and you can definitely feel a difference. so much lees restriction.
