exhaust question

ok i have a 02 sentra SE-R and looking at doing an exhaust, custom setup. looking at doing 2.5 in piping all the way back, with a larger cat to an apexi n1 muffler. and im thinking about running it to the left side unstead of the right side so its not so loud and it gives it that nice slant look. what do u guy think about the setup?

well for one thing, before you think about switching where the exhaust runs, you need to get up under the car and see how that would even be possible. Then you need to understand that having that "slant" look, on a FWD car, is retarded, and will add unnecessary bends in the piping. Also, if your shop's "custom" piping isn't mandrel bent, don't waste your money.

And i'm going to move this to the proper area, but be warned, next time a thread is in the wrong section, it'll get closed

yea sorry aboutt he wrong section thing im new here and havent learned much, the shop that is going to do it uses all mandrel bent piping. and the reason why the car is going to have the slant is because its going to have some rake when the suspension goes on. and i think it looks better with the rake. im from a vw family so thats all i know and rake is all i know and think is what looks good. my plans for the car are some sorta wheels size gonna be 17x8, some sort of suspension if you guys could lead me to the right pplace for a good drop, and then the exhaust.

edit: just looked under the car and the slant to the opposite side wont work cause it looks like the gas tank or something to that extent is right there in the middle of the rear of the car.
