Engine light and brake

My 2002 se-r just hit 50,000 miles. The check engine light is on but the car runs fine? any suggestion on what could it be? also, the left rear brake makes a funny noise. like a buzzing high pitch noise. help..

the light could be anything and the noise coming from the left side could possibly be the wheel hub itself. happened to mine, the bearings inside broke apart.

The light was for fuel sensor and the how much does the broken bearing affect you driving?

not saying that it is the problem but if it is then it will need to be replaced eventually, i mean the noise has got to be driving you nuts. i couldnt stand it.

I checked the brake and it is good. The high pitch noise is actually comming from the back bottom of my car even when i'm not moving.. when i turn the lights on it get a higher pitch noise.

sounds like something electrical, dont know much about that
