Why are you looking for an AFPR?

I do not believe the Nismo unit will work as I thoguht the Spec V had a returnless fuel system. I could be completely wrong here so someone chime in if I am talking out of my arse.

There was a big post on this on the V board which has gone back and forth forever. Someone said they installed it and their fuel pressure got up to 54. The stock fuel pump is only capiable of pusing out 52. I guess thats probably a gauge error. The stock specV does not have a return line on the fuel rail.

HPautoworks sells a fuel rail that does have a return line for the specV though.

correct, unless you swaped your fuel rail and ran a return line.

You don't need a NISMO FPR, I don't understand why NISMO even decided to make this for its cars since it is such ancient technology. If you want to get into adjusting fuel presure or changing injectors pulses and fuel curves you might as well invest the 200 bucks in a piggy back ecu kit like a greddy e-manage or something like that. Getting a NISMO FPR is not going to help anyone with our car very much in the long term and could actually hamper your cars performance because FPR are only good at WOT and who drives there car at WOT all the time???

I used the nismo FPR on my 01 sentra and my 91 se-r. Both cars were boosted, and this allowed precise control over fuel pressure, in case I wanted to run 3 or 4 bar pressure on the vehicle. However, both of those had return systems.

agreed. fuel pressure regualtors are nice. I ran one on my 90 CRX SI with a b16 and it helped alot when it came to tuning it nicely
