06 Spec-V Winter Wheels

I just got an 06 Spec-V and I need some sort of solution for the winter. It came standard with 17" wheels and 215/45-17 tires. I want to get a set of steel wheels and matching winter tires to use for the upcoming season. What size wheel should I get?? What's the smallest I should use? I don't have the Brembo brake package. Any recommendations for wheel/tire size combo and the best place to get it would be highly appreciated.

16" or 15"

IIRC 14" will not fit on the car

It will not mess with your alignment at all. I'd go with a bigger tire size because the smaller wheel will mess with your spedometer a bit, however a bigger (taller) wheel will compensiate for it.

I switch from 16" wheels to 19" wheels for shows all the time without any problem, other then my spedo reads higher with the smaller wheel/tire (IE: spedo reads 70mph actul sped 65mph) just makes it a bit safer because I think I'm doing 5 over but I'm actully doing the correct speed limit.
