Alright this is wats up i got an 02 spec and my car was slow to turn over so i took it to a dealer they said its my battery, i got a new one than my alternator blew up in lees than a week so i got a new alternator and a new belt and they said they fixed the timing...but heres the problem after all of this my car is still slow to turn over after i drive it for about 20mins or more, i run into 7-11 or grab sumtn to eat when i come back out sometimes it wont start checked the battery, alternator and belt everything is good some Yoyo at the dealer said i might have bad wiring throughout my car...wtf does he kno. I think it has something to do with flooding i think gas gets clogged up and if i dont let it sit the gas doesn't settle back down the tubes and it doesnt start, im guessing my air-fuel-ratio is off??? But i got nothing anyone kno what the problem is????? Or how i can fix it??HELP!!

do your terminals show any sign of corrosion. make sure your starter wire is grounded properly. wiring is a good guess it just takes a long time to narrow down the problem.

also what is your car idiling like. does it seem normal. when you are just sitting it should stay around 750rpm and if it is lower that might help narrow the problem down too.
we both have the same problem. im taking my car in tomorrow to get them to look at it because I think it's kinda ridiculous because the car only has 38k miles on it. i have an extended warranty, and the dealer i got the car from is going to pay for whatever they are going to charge me. I was told that it's something with the fuel pump. i tested my spark plugs, battery, alternator, and negative wire to the battery. all of those things are fine, so im thinking it's the fuel pump thing. i'll keep u posted to see what happens. also, my car starts fine like 70% of the time. like i'll go a full day without it cranking, then i'll have those days where im cranking it everytime i start the car. also, it never does it when the car is cold(engine is cold). it tends to do it more when the car is already warmed up. i'll keep you posted though. it's been driving me crazy for the last 3 weeks. it will be a month this saturday from when i got the car.
it is the FPR in the fuel pump. they are notoriously weak. it is not the starter, alternator, battery or anything else. it is the fuel pump. this is a common problem and can easily be found by searching. you can hassel with the dealer, or change spark plugs, run good gas and follow the 5 second rule.

yeah, they told me i need a new fuel pump. cost like $329. they are going to replace it, and the dealer i got the car from is paying for it.
