NISMO CAI Install Question

I have got my NISMO CAI and since I have no directions I was wondering if I was supposed to have a MAF adapter?? Do I just remove the MAF sensor from the housing and install the sensor into the primary tubing?? It looks like that is how it is installed but I want to make sure before I start.

Does anyone have instructions for a spec V Nismo install???

I think I am missing parts on this for some reason, I have two tubes, primary and main, then I have the rubber joints and clamps, and finaly the filter. Am I missing something?

You just posted your own answer to your problem. A Gen 1 intake is required for you year car. See if you can return it, or swap it for the correct one.

Has anyone ever tried to fit a Gen2 Nismo CAI on a 2002 Spec V? I was looking at the Gen2 and I think it will fit if you add some tubing. I am ordering a pipe that is the same diameter as the NISMO tubing to use to make up for the length of the missing MAF housing.

With a little bit of alteration I think it will work, either way I'm going to try it because I got the NISMO intake for a really good deal. I will keep you guys updated on what I find but in the meantime anyone have any pointers??
