Nitrous Oxide w/ QR25DE

Due to the sand-casted nature of the QR25DE, will is be able to safely handle repeated uses of Nitrous?...While I do not doubt the strength of the engine for N.A. purposes, there has been some fear expressed by others i have met with SE-R's in regards to both the delicate piston rods and block of the QR25DE. If anyone would like to enlighten me, i would be much obliged.

Of course, i have no plans of going with Nitrous as of yet...this is for down the road.

Peace

you can do a 50 shot without changing anything. A bigger shot would require some work due to the returnless fuel system. Btw things break at 275whp on this car at least.

Not sandcasted

The SPec V is Machine casted to allow minumum thiness with no abnormailitys. Sand casted pieces must be made thicker because of the inconsistencies in the sand grains. THing that sucks about this other than the thiness is the danger of overheating and warping.

Sand cast is also way better when it comes to F/I. Also, the open ended block is not helping either

What does that mean? Sand casting is not better than high pressure die casting in any measure.
