What does this mean?

P0462 Fuel Level Sensor Circuit Low Input

I'm throwing several codes, this is one. What does this mean, all fuses are good. Autozone read the codes for me. Also what does a Manufactor specific code mean?

I don't know about nissan... but what I work on it would indicate that the ecm is not sending the proper refrence voltage to the fuel gauge. Don't know if this helps but maybe it will open somebody else's eyes.

Go to your nearest Nissan dealership. They need to replace the entire fuel pump assembly. I've done several already and takes about an hour to do...

Ok, what the bloody hell, the speedometer is now STUCK on 20 mph. It will move up and down slowly while driving, but not accuratly and it dosnt ever go below 20 mph, even when the car is off. I'll be going to the dealer tomarrow.

Dealer says the cluster is messed up. They're gonna replace the spedo cluster under warrenty. Yay! they really have treated me good, they've givin me no problems at all and they make me feel very confident with my warrenty. Thornhill Nissan, Ft. Worth = good stuff.
