aight i did a search, but came up with nothing, maybe (but i hope not) one of u guys may of had the same problem, ......... so im going down the road and i look down and the oil light was blinking not like in a patern or anything, but just kinda like the wire had a short in it or something, so im thinking check the oil. so i did and the oil was just a little low so i change it, thinking that might be the problem, i used mobil one syn. k&n filter. so im going down the road after the oil change and it does it again. it doenst come on while in throttle just at idle and like i said it just blinks all crazy. and i give it a little gas i mean a very little gas and the light goes off. im stumped. so this is what im thinking....... 1. loose wire, which is what im hoping for. 2. maybe the low oil sensor messin up. or 3. the oil pump, which i hope like hell not. mods is i/h/e/bsr/c/fw/
Have you always used K&N oil filters.Perhaps try the OEM filter to be sure its not a aftermarket filter. I Put a Auto Meter Gauge on my 04 SE-R and pressure is good. How many miles do you have I don't see why the the oil light would filcker at idle is it very low.

It wouldn't have anything to do with the filter..K&N is a great filter..
1) This may sound crazy...But you have checked the oil level, right?..if it's low it could be tripping the sensor when you excelerate...
2) It's a 2004... still under warranty...take it in
you have the balance shaft removed, how much oil are you using? Because with the BSR you're taking out a big hunk of metal out of your oil pan and you have to compensate by adding more oil.
