Engine platforms
Is the QR engine platform new or is it based on the SR or GE platforms? I'm considering my options for my 87 Pulsar and thought a QR25 would be different.

No, it is a new platform. Stick with the SR. well either that or a chevy small block.

QR is far too complicated, picky, and truck-like to really be considered a good swap....it's not like honda engines where most are excellent. go SR
