hello i have a 2005 sentra 1.8s that i have just purchased. Now, looking at the performance, i'm looking to see if there are any aftermarket parts for it. I've done multiple searches on the internet and all i can find is parts for the SE R Spec V. It's starting to piss me off because no one is making parts for this nice ride. Now, do any after market companies make these parts:
turbocharger/supercharger
exhaust cat back kit (with Muffler)
pulley system
cam shafts
performance headers
intake manifolds
fuel parts, such as ECU chips, rails, injectors, and pumps
cold air intake
intercoolers
any feedback will be greatly appreciated because i feel lost in ignorance. any company names being dropped or sites given would be great. if there aren't that many parts for it, do you think it would be recommended for an engine swap? thanks
*feels like a fool not reading the stickes first* i was so excited when i found this forum cause i couldn't even find a nissan forum that i just blew through the stickies. thanks

alright, so i see the gains and such, mike sells kits for about 3 grand, which ill probably make over the summer. That will get me around 150 horsepower? Now on nissanperformance.com or whatever, it says that your car runs around 170-190 whp. Can i get any custom work on the engine after i get the turbo running or is that it? stopped at 150 whp?
being a 2005 edition, there isn't any differences in the engine area is there?
i also heard thats you could put a SR20VE into it. Is this true? and would i be able to have size to put NA mods on it?
thanks so much, but i haven't really looked at smaller engines like the QG18 before.

Mike can answer your tuning questions or just look up his posts; from 2000 and up, all the xe, gxe and 1.8's have the same QG18 motor, only differences are the obvious ones, Auto or manual. However IMO an SR20 swap is a bit overboard considering the cost, and the fact that you are replacing a brand new motor with something older...errr yeah ill just leave it at that.

haha makes sense.... the only thing i really wanna reach is over 200 whp. then i would be satisfied.

you do believe that i could reach 200 whp with the turbo kit given? how much psi would the engine be at and what extra parts would i have to purchase so that my engine could run higher psi's stably?

Thats something chimmike could answer.. but for now just read up on these articles, they go through an overview of the entire process as they go along, as well as proven recommendations and realistic goals for this particular project car, http://www.nissanperformancemag.com/projects/qg18de.php

Well, now that Liu's an official sponsor, I can link you to his site.
You can find good performance parts on www.liuspeedtuning.com, we carry plenty of parts for the B15 including the 1.8.
I don't think anyone makes turbo kits for the 1.8 specifically. Honestly, the best turbo kits are made from scratch. You don't need a pre-fabricated kit to make a turbo. You just need 3 things: money, connections, and lots of knowledge on F.I. tuning. I recommend you don't do any turboing until you're confident enough to tune it properly.
Supercharging is not an option on most of our cars, in fact, the best supercharger kits are found on V6's and higher. Supercharging a 4cyl is usually inefficient and dangerous, at least from my perspective.
