Sentra guy

Hi everyone, this is my first post. I've had my sentra for about 2 years now with about 48,000 miles on it, not a single problem. Well the belts are starting to crack, and the dealership wants to charge me about 120 to fix. I bought the belts, but now I can't get the old belts off. I have a 2000 XE sentra. Also I heard that there is a 1.8 liter and a 1.6 liter, if so how can I tell where the engine model number is? Thanks, by the way why isn't there a 2000 book out yet?

look at your vin number on the side or the door, use this chart to tell you what your engine code is, or it would probably be in your owners manual not sure.

the top belt that runs alternator and air cond just losten the alternator, the power steering and water pump belt at the bottom im not sure of but im sure there is some kinda belt tensioner to losen, should be easy to figure out.
