there is no manual diagnostic. it's much, much easier to purchase an OBD II code reader.

thanks Mike a friend of mine was gonna check it for me but his code reader is a obd 1 ,
He told me too run the engine for approx 50 miles and the management light should go out,The problem was i started the engine with the temp sensor unplugged (My mistake Dohhhhh) and he said the ecu has picked up on the fault .So i will run it and see if it will go out keeping my fingers crossed ...

Thumbs up

Cheers Mike i tried dis-connecting the battery for a couple of hours but that did'nt work .
I have managed too re-set the engine management light now by crossing 2 wires on the consult plug under the fuse box took me 2 seconds too re-set the light by crossing the 2 connectors on the bottom row of the consult plug far left and far right on the bottom row ...
Used a strip of fuse wire plugged it into both plugs turned the ignition onto the on position and the light began too flash ,Then switched ignition off , Removed the wire and started the engine again and the light re-set woooohoooo
But i do appreciate all the advice and help that you guys can give me on here

if the light doesn't go off, that generally means there's still a problem.
