MAF Sensor Check Needed
I've seen a lot about bad MAF sensors on this forum, but I haven't seen any electrical checks. Is there a check I can run on my MAF sensor? My 2000 Sentra's check engine light came on last week when the car stalled out. I scanned it and got a code P0100 (MAF sensor). I bought a used one from a local salvage shop. After clearing the original error code and plugging in the used MAF sensor, got a check engine light and the same error again. Now I'm not sure if the problem is in the sensor. I'd guess the odds of two being bad are pretty slim. I checked most of the wiring from the ECM to the sensor harness. I also checked the supplied voltage. It's getting around 1.5v at warm up which is within the required range of 1.3v to 1.7v. Is anyone aware of a test I can perform on the sensor to check it out? Is there a resistance I can measure across the leads or something similar?
