what you guys suggest ?

ok my airflow sensor is bad so i have to get a new one so i was thinking if i put a QG18de airflow would that make a difference in power ?
i was also thinking if i get a QG18de ecu and i install it would it also make a difference ? is it worth it ?

i am getting the both items free.
i have a nissan n16 QG16de .

a qg18 ecu won't work with the qg16, and the larger MAF won't gain any power.

my neighbour put a QG16de ecu on his QG15de nissan wingroad and it worked ...i did not notice any difference .

what ecu / maf i can use in my car to gain power ?
my car chages gears at 6000rmp and it redlines at 62000rpm . and it sucks !

oh and my maf voltage reading was 1.38v - is that good or bad ? because someone told me that my maf needs to be changed .

no MAF will give you more power, and you can't just throw in any ecu to get power, it doesn't work that way.

ok how to kno if your maf sensor is going bad ?
my machanic told me that my maf sensor is going bad and he is getting different voltage reading on his computer . i think he is getting something like 1.38 volts and he suppose to be getting 1.28 .

well i called the dealership today and they told me that the only way they are changing the maf sensor is if the vehicle is cutting off ............

the MAF voltage is going to vary.

if the MAF is bad, you'll know it. the car won't run right, or at all.

the QG16 and the QG15 aren't really that different from each other, but the fuel mapping of the QG18 will definitely be off.

Sorry to jump in, but I thought QG16 and QG18 using the same MAF sensor? There were discussion on using QG25 *I think* from the X-trail for better flow, but heavy recalibration is needed to make it run smoothly?

From the looks of it, I don't think the stock MAF sensor is the bottleneck, a better bet would be the tiny throttle body?

Please correct me if I'm wrong, thanks.
