qg problem

ok here it is im cruisin along and when i go to floor it or give it some gas it builds up slow and the around 4500rpms it feels like a boost kicked in and then it responds good. i just replace the maf so im not sure what it is i think it might be a sensor but dont know any opnion will help. i got a shortram intake and muffler thats about it, oh and its a manual.

for good measure, the short ram is secured properly, right?

usually the short ram loses midrange power.

Just make sure the MAF is on correctly......if you don't have a CEL then I'd say it's just the short ram.

the intake is on tight, but also would that make it idle real low? like at 600-550

well before it would move along fine throughout the whole rpm band till now. so then should i just get a cold air, someother people were sayin something about the o2 sensor

cold air intake has nothing to do with the O2 sensor. yeah, i'd say get a full cold air intake.

i know thw cold air has nothing to do with 02 sensor but im saying would it make iut better. cause like it doesnt do this all the time. like yesterday it was fine but other days during the afternoon, it does the boost thing.
