2000 nissan sentra problem

Hey guys I Have a 2000 nissan sentra commuter car and my service engine soon light came on, got it read and it says Bank 1 running to lean. how can i fix this?? oxygen sensor maybe?

it could be the oxygen sensor, yes. I suggest taking it to a shop if you don't have any ideas.

I have the same problem. There ia some related info in the FSM and can send it if you want. Looks like my MAF readings are low based on the FSM but don't know if this is the cause. Would be covered in the basic drivetrain warranty?

that's a good question. if you're in the 3yr 36k bumper to bumper, I'd say yes. however, an O2 sensor is technically a "wear" item, so it's debateable if it is replaceable under the 60k powertrain warranty.

only way to find out is to go to the dealer and post your results!
