My '01 Sentra GXE (manual tranny) started stalling when coming to a stop. When the engine is warm and coming to a stop I push in the clutch and I see the rpms drop to below idle speed and sometimes the engine stalls. I just changed the oil, cleaned the throttle body and replaced the spark plugs but it still does it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Bob

does is run bad any other time? like acceration decrease or seem like it has lost power?

It ran fine at all RPMs. I brought it to the dealer Friday, they said they cleaned the throttle body (which I already did but did not fix it) and adjusted the idle circuit. I had no more problems since then. They charged me $60. which was not too bad.

i have the same trouble. usually when decrease the speed to stop and press the clutch the cars stall. i ll go tomorow to the dealer to perform some trouble shooting.

mine doesnt stall but it idles like at 600 is this a do it yourself fix or do i have to go to the dealership? also which one is the idle circuit?

WHAT THE DEALERSHIP FOUND? AIR MASS FLOW SENSOR DAMAGE. DUE TO BAD COLD AIR INTAKE INSTALLATION. (POSIBLE CAUSE VIBRATION) MY COLD AIR INTAKE BRACKET WAS BROKE AND THE SYSTEM ALWAYS HIT THE CAR CHASIS. DUE TO THIS MOVEMENT THE THE DUCT HAVE A LITTLE SCRATCH, THEM AFTER A TIME BECOME IN A TINY HOLE WERE DUST ENTER TO THE DUCT A COGGLED THE MASS AIR SENSOR FILLAMENT. ESTIMATED COST $180. + MAN POWER + EVALUATION. .. SORRY I FORGOT SOMETHING. ASLO FOUND ONE OF THE VACUUM LINE THA GOES TO ONE OF THE LINES BELOW THE THROTTLE BODY LOOSE.
