you can't raise the rev limiter, the stock valvetrain can't handle it, and there's no power to be had there.

haven't you read my tuning guide?

Iv done them all and more

My rpm starts pushing serious power at 4500 all the way to 6500 until the fuel cuts out. I think and my machanic thinks I can go a bit more, but I need the programing for the ecu so we can see all round the power to it handling the the stress. So stop cutting my legs short, half the shit I have been told that wouldnt work have and well. So back me up as best you can and let me see what i can get out of it and i will share the info and if blows up well shit happens and i can pick up another one cheap.

Any help would be great.

dude... you shouldn't talk shit to chimmike, because he talks shit back.

No one has programming for the ECU of the QG engines AFAIK, as Nissan's new boxes are encrypted. There aren't any aftermarket companies eager to go to all that trouble for the Sentra's economy engine when they could make more money tuning SE-Rs. You're welcome to try, though.

Shadoo, I don't think you understand what I told you:

THE STOCK VALVETRAIN CANNOT HANDLE INCREASING THE REV LIMITER.

STOCK CAMS WILL NOT PRODUCE MORE POWER BY RAISING THE REV LIMIT.
stock cams are not made to produce power at a higher rpm than stock, no matter what you try to do, it won't happen. the powerband from redline will just fall.

This is fact. The new ECUs are 32bit OBD II systems that NOBODY has cracked the codes to yet.

If you want to raise the rev limit, buy a full standalone and do it. Don't come crying back to us if you raise the limit to 7krpm and the valvetrain disintegrates on you.

as much as I would love to be a ricer and raise my rev limit to 7,000 or 7500 I know that on stock cams there won't be any additional power made, and I also know (because I've torn the QG apart) that the stock valvetrain feels as if it's made of plastic. it is NOT strong at all, and would not be able to take the abuse.
